POMONA - Muriel Katz is not a gardener. But the Los Angeles woman made the trek out to Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday to take part in the university’s workshop series about design and maintenance for urban gardening as well as city landscapes, planters, rooftop boxes, and community and school gardens.
